Amber grew up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and has been a professional musician/vocalist for over 25 years. She is a worship leader in Dallas, Texas where she has served on church staff by helping with development and coaching. She is also a private vocal instructor and has taught many musicians through workshops all over the world. Because of her heart for missions, Amber also travels internationally to churches as a worship consultant and a vocal coach.
Amber is the President of Sole Desire Ministries & The Worship Life, a non-profit organization that helps equip worship pastors, leaders and musicians to be influential atmosphere-changers. Through this ministry and its work during Hurricane Katrina, Amber began leading worship in Spanish and has since had the opportunity to minister to thousands in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Peru and Israel.
She loves people and desires to see every person experience an intimate relationship with God. Amber gives hope and encouragement through music to others who need healing in their lives. Her heart is to see God take the brokenness in every life and turn it into something beautiful.
Ps. Isaiah Fosu- Kwakye Jnr. is a Bible devotee who seeks to share God’s love with the rest of the world. He is a conference speaker, teacher of the Word and a life coach. He has worked tirelessly in the Lord’s vineyard in many capacities from a very tender age till today. He has carved a niche for counseling youth to uphold godly standards in their daily living.
Isaiah is a sought-after worship leader, especially in the contemporary Gospel community, and the host of the Diary of A Worshipper, worship experience. Isaiah is also the President of Impact Value Ministries which hosts the Impact Impart Conference, a conference that seeks to stir up mostly young people into a purpose driven life.
He operates under the conviction that to realize the full potential of being God’s creation is to embrace the equilibrium of sonship and servanthood before God, steadfastly.
Ps. Isaiah is the resident pastor of Dominion Chapel International located at East Legon. He is an avid reader and a profound thinker. He is also the author of Impact Pills, a book designed to help realign the thoughts of its readers toward a daily life of impact. He is a lover of God and publicly admits that he is a total product of Grace. He is married to Pastor (Mrs.) Rita Fosu-Kwakye, and they are blessed with a son and two girls.
Horace J. Maxile, Jr., Associate Professor of Music Theory, holds the Ph.D. in Musicology (Music Theory emphasis) from Louisiana State University. He also completed studies at Louisiana Tech University (BS Music Education) and Southeastern Louisiana University (MM). Prior to his appointment at Baylor, he taught at The University of North Carolina at Asheville and served as Associate Director of Research at the Center for Black Music Research (Columbia College Chicago). His research interests include the concert music of African-American composers, gospel music, and musical semiotics. Among his publications are articles in Perspectives of New Music, The Annual Review of Jazz Studies, Black Music Research Journal, Journal for the Society of American Music, and American Music. He was Associate Editor of the Encyclopedia of African-American Music (Greenwood Press, 2011). He has served as Editor of the Black Music Research Journal, chair of the Society for Music Theory Committee on Diversity, and as a member of the American Musicological Society Council.
Eric Amouzou is a passionate and dedicated leader in music and worship ministry. Hailing from Ghana, Eric began his musical journey with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. He has also earned a Master’s in Church Music from Baylor University in 2019 and has earned his Ph.D. in Church Music from Baylor in 2024. With more than 15 years of practical experience, Eric has held various music ministry positions in both Ghana and the United States.
As both a board member and the executive director/president of Worthship House Incorporated, Eric is the organization’s driving force. His responsibilities include overseeing its business affairs and ensuring adherence to its mission of being a leading catalyst for transformative worship ministry in West Africa, the African diaspora in the United States, and beyond.
In addition to these roles, Eric serves as the Minister of Music at Greater Bosqueville Baptist Church in Waco, Texas, where he inspires and leads a dynamic worship community. Eric’s passion for worship ministry extends beyond his organizational responsibilities. He is actively involved in speaking at worship conferences, emphasizing worship from a global perspective. Eric also develops worship programs for growing ministries in African-led churches within the diaspora in the United States, thereby enriching worship experiences in diverse communities. His work exemplifies his commitment to spreading the transformational power of music and worship in the global church.
Philip S. Thomas was born in Chennai, South India, and did his bachelor’s in music education from The Bangalore Conservatory. He taught music for several years, having specialized in classroom pedagogy and applied piano instruction. He then completed his Masters in Church Music from Baylor University, Waco, TX and has since been involved in music ministries in the church.
Philip serves as Vice President for Worthship House. In that role he helps in crafting and executing the vision and mission of the organization and fleshing out the content and planning for different projects, particularly the annual Discover Conference.
Philip is currently employed by Faith Temple Baptist Church, Lorena, TX, as youth and worship leader and also is an elementary school teacher at Live Oak Classical School, Waco TX. He loves reading, traveling, and is passionate about discipling future ministers and lay leaders.
Mr. Peculiar is a pioneering force behind the evolution of the modern expressive style of Nigerian gospel music. He is one among the moral forces and most adept in true worship; renowned for his imaginative arrangements, progressive harmonies, and all-around versatility. Mr. Peculiar is a renowned music minister who has significantly contributed to the gospel music genre. He is widely recognized for his passion for worship and his ability to inspire and uplift others through his music. With heartfelt performances and meaningful lyrics, Mr Peculiar has touched the hearts of many listeners.
As a music minister, he is well known for leading worship in various settings, including churches, conferences, and other Christian gatherings. He is also a very good teacher of the word of God by which He creates an atmosphere of praise and adoration, helping people connect with God on a deeper level. His desire is to foster spiritual growth, fellowship amongst brethren and deep reflection among his audience.
He is a native of Kafanchan in Kaduna state, born in Wusasa Zaria and spent part of his growing years in jaji (army barracks).He is also a graduate of Agricultural Engineering from the prestigious Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger state in Nigeria.
Mr Peculiar is an excellent teacher of the word, a business man and he is the founder and CEO of Hallel Music. He is a husband of one wife and a father of three children.
